One of the issues with heavy weights is that most people do not know what weight is appropriate for them, or it is such a frequent part of their regimine that it causes injury and biological stress response, resulting in fat retention and frustrating set backs. It is also common that incorrect form is used. With a bodyweight circuit, we use the natural weight of our bodies and the gravity of the Earth to master proper form and build healthy muscle without dependence on tools like weights, which are usually only available in a gym setting. There are seemingly infinite exercises that we can perform with the body alone that are safe and challenging enough to help us recover from and prevent injury, promote spinal alignment and lean muscle building, and ultimately help us reach our fitness goals.
